 Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network (DIAN)

The Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network (DIAN) works directly with individuals and families who are impacted by Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Disease or who are at risk for developing the disease. There are three independent but related efforts currently under way.

 Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS)

The Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS) is a 2-year observational study designed to look at disease progression in adults with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers are also recruiting cognitively normal volunteers for a 1-year comparison.

Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry

The Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry is a national registry of individuals age 18 and older who are interested in learning about and possibly participating in Alzheimer’s prevention clinical studies and trials. The Registry will collect contact and demographic information, provide information about the latest news and advances in Alzheimer’s prevention research, and inform enrollees about research studies in their community.
