Past Events
4/25/2024: Our research coordinators, Lusiana, Alex, and Isabella hosting April’s Tardes Latinas: Trivia y cultura latinoamericana at Nuevo Día Adult Day Health Center. They highlighted the importance of social engagement and testing your memory and played a few rounds of Kahoot! Trivia with the group.
8/25/23: Nuevo Día Adult Day Health Center celebrated their one year anniversary! We are very happy to see the program grow and for the opportunities to collaborate through the Boston Latino Aging Study to better understand aging in Latinos.
4/26/23: Dr. Clara Vila Castelar and our Research Coordinators Alex, Nikole, and Sofía at the East Boston Senior Center. Dr. Vila Castelar gave a presentation on Health and having a Healthy Brain while our research coordinators introduced BLAST and distributed educational resources on healthy aging.
3/23/23: Empanadas and lotería event in East Boston! Dr. Quiroz presented on healthy aging and memory followed by our CRCs leading a few rounds of Mexican lotería.
8/12/22: Sofia and Nikole our clinical research coordinators attended the VITRA HEALTH Mental health Awareness Fair at the Mozart Park in Jamaica Plain. This was an opportunity to meet with members of the community and other community organizations.
