MAPP in Action is a culturally-informed lifestyle program to keep your body and brain healthy, while reducing your risk of cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease.
6-session program where participants learn about principles of physical and mental health and are introduced to new skills—guiding principles to make lifestyle changes and seek support as they begin to make changes- all while improving their brain health and lowering their risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
Small group size: only 5 participants per group
A lifestyle coach, specially trained to lead the program, to help participants learn new skills, encourage them to set and meet goals, and keep them motivated. The coach also facilitates discussions and help engage participants
Booster calls: all participants receive two booster 15-minute telephone calls from the lifestyle coach (group leader) 4-weeks and 12-weeks post –group
