Samia is working on her B.A., with a major in psychology and minor in biology at Boston University (’20), where she is co-mentored by Dr. Alice Cronin-Golomb and Dr. Yakeel Quiroz. Her current work in the lab focuses on changes in neuroanatomy and cognitive functioning in the behavioral variant of Frontotemporal Dementia. Her research interests are understanding the role of genetics and lifestyle factors in the heterogeneity of neurodegenerative disorders and healthy brain aging. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, watching movies, reading, and exploring the city.
